Made for the distance

On builds footwear for people who take movement seriously. We built the visual direction around that same seriousness. Open terrain, extreme light conditions, and bodies in full motion gave the collection the environment it deserved.

The images move between trail, road, and raw landscape without ever losing visual coherence. Each environment was chosen because it puts the shoe under the same demands as the person wearing it.

We shot close and wide, still and in motion. Aerial perspectives give certain frames a sense of scale and isolation that puts the runner in the landscape rather than against it. Tight shots on sole and upper mid-stride bring material and engineering into immediate focus.

Color plays deliberately throughout the series. On's signature tones read clearly against earth, rock, and sky. The contrast is never decorative. It is functional, the same way the shoes are.
